Boston Adventures with my Family

I feel very lucky to live in Boston. There is so much history, good food and culture to experience. I have done my fair share of sightseeing (and way more than my fair share of eating), but two weeks ago, I got to experience the city all over again!

My sisters (the biological ones) are both away at different colleges, but conveniently they had the same spring break! So they, along with my mom, came to Beantown to visit for a few days. It was a four-day shopping and eating fest, which I am certainly not complaining about!

ImageHere are my sisters and I on the observation deck at the top of the Prudential tower. Paige (center) is a freshman at UC Santa Barbara and a member of Alpha Phi. Kendall (on the right) is in her sophomore year at the University of Washington and serves as the ritual chair in her chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. I’m a proud big sis!

My favorite person in the whole world–my mom. This is us in front of Faneuil Hall. Thanks Mama for all the meals and for funding my shopping for the week 🙂 (For the record, my mom is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. We’re a very Panhellenic family!)

The week included lots of visits to Georgetown Cupcake (my main food group since moving to Boston), a splurge (or two) at Alex & Ani for bracelets, and lots and lots of laughs. These three things are, in my opinion, the ingredients to a perfect week.

With Initiation/Installation and the end of my first-year contract right around the corner, my time in Boston is very rapidly expiring. It was so nice to have my family come visit and experience a city I have really come to love.

Stay tuned for more Boston adventures!
